Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres comforts fans with a beautiful message on Twitter

The amount of love and support Fernando Torres has received on Twitter truly shows how much fans appreciated him.

Torres took to Twitter to express a message of comfort to his fans. He said, "Many thanks to all for worry for me and for your messages of encouragement. It was just a scare. I hope to return very soon!"

Torres and the Deportivo’s Alex Bergantinos clashed earlier this week, leaving Torress unconscious on the field.

Torress was rushed to the hospital, but a CT scan revealed no major damage.
