Woman puts octopus on face gets put in the hospital

A Washington woman ends up in the hospital after putting an octopus on the face for a photo competition.

Jamie Bisceglia, 45, of Fox Island, thought it would be a good idea to put the octopus on her face for the derby's photography contest and was left bleeding for hours.

Unable to take the pain after a couple of days, Bisceglia went to the doctors because her vision was blurry and her face was swollen to the point of feeling paralyzed.

Although she cooked the octopus in what she termed "revenge," it is clear that she deeply regrets the decision and has learned a very important lesson about why we shouldn't play with our food.
