What is the core mission behind your work or business?

The core mission behind my work is to transform the way human beings communicate so we can move beyond reaction and begin to truly understand one another. After decades of clinical therapeutic work, I discovered that most emotional pain, workplace tension, and relationship breakdowns are not caused by a lack of love or intelligence, but by a lack of communication awareness.

Through Measures4Success, LLC, my mission is to teach individuals, leaders, and organizations how to communicate with clarity, compassion, and character using the Communication IQ™ Framework, inspired by Fred and Anna Kendall’s Life Languages™. This framework helps people understand the “why” behind their words and the “how” behind their reactions, turning miscommunication into meaningful connection.

Ultimately, my work is about restoring trust, healing human interactions, and creating cultures of respect where people feel seen, heard, understood, and valued.

What specific services or products do you offer, and who do you serve?

I offer communication training, coaching, and educational programs. I serve professionals in healthcare, education, and first-responder sectors, as well as leaders, teams, and individuals who want to improve how they connect and lead.

What inspired you to start this journey, and what keeps you motivated?

It started with a personal wake-up call during the 2020 pandemic. A painful conflict with my daughter revealed how relationships—even loving ones—can fracture due to miscommunication. I saw similar struggles among my therapy clients, both at home and in the workplace. That’s when I realized the world needed more than therapy—it needed a communication revolution.
