Julian Fleming, a former wide receiver for Penn State and Ohio State, was seriously injured in an ATV crash that tragically claimed the life of his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd. The accident occurred in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, when the ATV they were riding collided with a deer that suddenly jumped into the roadway.
Boyd, 23, was a student at the University of Alabama. She suffered extensive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Fleming, 24, was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital with serious injuries. Reports indicate that neither of them were wearing safety equipment at the time of the crash.
Fleming, a five-star recruit, played four seasons at Ohio State before transferring to Penn State for the 2024 season. He later signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft, but the team rescinded his contract after he failed his physical three weeks before the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the crash, and Fleming has since been released from the hospital. Boyd’s passing has left loved ones devastated, and tributes have poured in from friends and family.
